Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of MarketMeet, a tool that helps buyers and sellers coordinate local item pickups.
MarketMeet's role
MarketMeet coordinates pickup scheduling and related communication. MarketMeet is not the marketplace where the sale occurs, is not a party to the underlying sale, does not guarantee an item or user, and is not responsible for payment, item condition, ownership, safety, or performance of the buyer or seller.
User responsibilities
Users are responsible for providing accurate pickup information, using MarketMeet lawfully, protecting private pickup links, and exercising reasonable judgment and safety when meeting another person. Sellers are responsible for keeping their offered availability and pickup information current.
Scheduling and changes
A confirmed pickup time remains the recorded appointment until a replacement time is accepted through MarketMeet. A reschedule request does not silently or automatically move an appointment. Either party may request a change or cancel according to the options available in the pickup workflow.
SMS terms
MarketMeet may offer optional transactional text messages about pickup confirmations, reminders, reschedule requests, cancellations, location changes, and other pickup coordination. Users opt in through a separate, unchecked consent control in MarketMeet. Consent to SMS is voluntary and is not required to use MarketMeet or complete a pickup.
Message frequency varies based on pickup activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of MarketMeet text messages. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of SMS does not stop in-app or email communications that the user has separately enabled.

Availability and changes to the service
MarketMeet may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may take reasonable steps to prevent misuse or protect users and the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Disclaimer
MarketMeet is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MarketMeet disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an updated effective date means the user accepts the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
